On a Halloween Night: A Poem

By Mackenzie M

On a Halloween Night

A night for living, orange and black,
And for all the children, a Halloween snack,
But come to my door, and you’ll see worse,
As you scream in horror from the Halloween curse,
For everything is living, they don’t rest till they’re done,
And I’ll just stand there for a cruelty called fun,
Beware those that moan and cackle and stumble,
Or you will end up as one of those that crumble,
So come to my house on this cheery night,
And suffer the consequences of this deadly fight
