In 2012 a billionaire in Hong Kong offered 65 million dollars to the man who could turn his lesbian daughter straight. Is it sad that this happened? Yes. Is it also ridiculous? Yes. This is definitely not something that the family of that billionaire should be proud of, but I’m here to talk about it anyway. What makes this worse is that this man’s daughter, named Ciao, was already married to a woman. Despite that, she was getting marriage proposals every day from random people, and a notable one from a woman who offered up her own husband. You’ll be happy to know that Ciao did not marry any of these men, and is still in a happy relationship with her wife to this day.
