By Timmy T Déjà vu can be described as a phenomenon in which an individual has a recognition that he has already experienced his present situation. Déjà vu has baffled psychologists for years. The only logical explanation stems from incredibly rare mental disorders. For example, memory trace may lead to the sensation that a person in a situation has already experienced it in the past. Thus, encountering something that evokes the implicit associations of an experience or sensation that cannot be remembered may lead to déjà vu. In an effort to reproduce the sensation experimentally, two doctors named Dr. Banister and Zangwill used hypnosis to give participants posthypnotic amnesia for material they had already seen. When this was later re-encountered, the restricted activation caused thereafter by the posthypnotic amnesia resulted in 3 of the 10 participants reporting what the authors termed "paramnesias". The violent strikes sent bolts of dolor to the land, the pitter patter of rain oozing down as trees weaved around with the brute wind, shaking and falling down defeatedly. The Statuette and the Sculptor: an Allegory

By Anonymous The sculptor took a step back, admiring their creation, a beautiful marble statuette. With some final touches, it would certainly turn this work into an elegant masterpiece, admired by hundreds in the years to come. The sculptor sat beside their creation, watching over it with the utmost pride radiating off of them. Visitors from around the world would travel to catch a glimpse of the statuette in person, complimenting the sculptor on their astonishing talents. The sculptor was beyond content like a small child marveling at the Christmas presents under the tree. They were sure this feeling would never wash away. As the years passed the sculptor grew weary of constantly tending to their statuette, the exhaustion taking a toll on their once cheery demeanor. We rush past all of it. I say rush but with one person on crutches for the first time and one person trying to lay low, It was really more of a speedy trot. We hustled through town and by the time we made it to Alma’s house, It was almost supper time. I needed to get back to the palace soon or my father would get worried. Not for my safety, but for the sake of the family's reputation. I knock on the door. “Gael!” cries Alma, who answered the door. “I was hoping you’d visit soon! I was getting worried that that father of yours locked you up again. Come in! Come in! Byane’s making supper.'' We walk into the kitchen and Byane is behind the stove boiling potatoes.
